Calling of The West

Note: This song can be played in-game with the song that goes with The Lay of Luthien and Beren, which in turn, inspired me to create this. Nine stanzas, eight lines each, all with eight syllables. If you have heard Aegardhros play it in-game, you may share it elsewhere, freely.

Dance of the Men of Bree ~ Song

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Official Document

~*~ Taken from Laiwyn's book of melodies ~*~

I sat in the Pony with my quill in hand,
Watching the stage which upon a band did stand,
When I could take no more of the disheartening song,
The men of Bree did arrive in a throng,

So dance the dance of the men of Bree,
Laughter and joyous revelry as far as the eye can see,
Raise your mead in the air and sing with your voice so fair,
Dark thoughts and worries - you need not care!

A Leathery Journal - (4th entry) My kind of song

I felt like writing the old song down. Even if I cannot sing I feel like writing it down, I love the decadence of it. Really is much like my view on the world. I do not know why, but it just seemed the time to write it down. I could not tell anyone where it came from, or if it was a true story, I just enjoy the song

The nobleman's wife was as fair as the sun, and her kisses were warmer than spring.

Higher Expectations

Meditating. Legs crossed, eyes shut. The sounds of the waterfall roaring oddly soothes this Elven male. His inner eye reflects onto the recent happening in his life, they firstly glance upon an Oath he has taken up. "So shall it be." His mind states plainly to him. That inner eye shifts to the next development, the first thing it sees is a beautiful, smiling, golden haired Hiril staring back lovingly. The Elf slowly smiles as his inner eye stays locked onto that scene. It reluctantly moves forward to another Hiril of golden hair. She looks similar to the Elf himself.

Oh Crumbs! A song about proper pies.

Oh Crumbs!
*Please note that the bridge must be performed with a pie in your mouth to be sung properly, preferably a cheese and onion one with a firm crust.  And if you prefer mushrooms to lamb kidneys in your pie, you may substitute the words out, of course.*

The song of the Red-haired Maid

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

This is a transcription of the Red-haired Maid lyrics, as it is sung in havens from Linhir to Umbar

In far Andrast lived a girl,

With a heart of fire and fire in her hair

She was so fair and full of grace

Curious pathway, hidden by rock,
You beckon me, beckon me,
calling me to take stock,
of what great new wonders I may find,
ignoring the friends who might tell me to mind,
To mind!  To mind!  The cold icy hand,
the crawling death worm,
the lost of the land,

Song - The Shire

#Walking through the Shire, on a warm afternoon#
#All the children are out playing and enjoying the sun#
#And their parents are all smiling, they go happily their ways#
#It's a day for life's enjoyment, it's like all the Shire days#

#Yes we do like our lives more peaceful#
#And we do not enjoy haste#
#If there's one thing makes us hurry#
#It's if there is pie to taste#
#So if you're coming to the Shire#
#Just adopt our gentle pace#
#Do remember life is precious#

Said to first have risen at the awakening of the Elves at Cuiviénen, the stars of Menelvagor are seen by silvan elves as the Great Bowman guarding the marches of the world.
