On Hobbits and their Ways

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

(OOC - Having been in the Bree-lands for a month or so, Angrinc has seen and learnt much that is new to him.  In particular, he has come to know hobbits and their ways, and the scholar in him has demanded that he set down his observations and feelings for posterity.  As he comes to meet more of the peoples of Middle-earth, he may well continue to chronicle his perceptions of each….)

As I find myself ever drawn to the Western lands of this Middle-earth, I have, for the first time in my life, met the strange people called hobbits.

The Ballad of Jess and Pia

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Part One

Now sat upon a wooden chair
An aging couple look around
So contented in their little home
And ever fruitful patch of ground
In Staddle now, they spend their days
And ponder how they came to stay

Both Jess and Pia were both raised
In two of Staddle's smallest farms
As bairns they'd play, but when they grew
They'd stroll together arm-in-arm
So soon enough, they were both wed
And came to have their own farmstead

A traitor in the Ranks.

I fear for my niece.

We cannot take two steps without her witnessing or being part of something potentially life-threatening.

We recieved an anonymous tip-off regarding the location of a new bandit hideout, recommending the most experienced of our order

With Kerl in Jail, it was up to me to locate the new Bandit headquarters, and I grabbed the closest comrade I could find.

In Hindsight, I should have grabbed the Second closest.  Robynwen wasn't ready.
