Chronicle Content
When rumour and ale bring word of long-forgotten treasures buried in the sodden heart of the Midgewater Marshes, Vratni Copperhand, ever the entrepreneurial Dwarf, sees an opportunity too good to pass up, but the marshes are no friend to careless wanderers.
With danger lurking in every misty hollow and ancient stones whispering of old, lost days, Vratni soon finds that survival may depend more on the company he keeps than the coins he hopes to find. He makes a choice wiser than even he knows, to hire an expert of the Marshes, a local man nicknamed "Boots" (Flent) to guide him.
As they embark, they cross paths with members of the Company of the East Road (Tivlyn & Wittkun), already on a mission of their own: to investigate troubling reports of poachers and brigandry in the wild lands east of Bree.
The fellowship encounters other travellers during their adventure, but that would be telling...
With dangers lurking in every misty hollow and ancient stones whispering of lost days, all of them will soon find that survival may depend more on unexpected alliances than on luck or wit alone.
This chronicle follows multiple journeys from the relative safety of Bree to the treacherous marshes beyond, where fortune, fellowship, and folly entwine beneath the fog.
