Estarfin readied his shield and spear and headed straight at Naraal, determined the Corsair would die this time. He had eluded the Noldo in Nan Wathren. It would not happen again. The man was responsible for Danel’s capture, apparently enthralled by her, and dared to touch her. She had struck him in return, but such an affront to her, to any lady of his people, could only result in this. The Dwarf could wait a little while for his turn to die.

I was exiled, cast out from my own lands, by the evil High Steward Denethor of Gondor.  My heart wept and my mind railed against this injustice, yet ever foremost was my thought turned toward stopping whatever evilness the evil man was planning.  Also, I hadn’t had lunch and I was getting a bit peckish.  All in all, the overwhelming tragedy of my miserable lot made me quite grumpy indeed.

The bottommost drawer of her small dresser contained a neatly-wrapped parcel. Daisy pulled it out for the first time in a long time and unwrapped it in her lap. Inside was a dress. While it seemed to have once been fine, now it was clearly travel-worn. She must have carefully examined each fiber looking for clues. Now she rubbed her thumb over the fabric of the left shoulder, where the stain of blood could still be seen faintly, even after having been washed. This was the dress she had been wearing when she was found bleeding and unconscious in the street.

How is it possible to feel this way? To be elated yet so miserable? I feel as though I am walking on clouds as I drown.

I don't know how that happened, and why it was there in that right time, but something is clear: My past is not clear yet, and maybe I am someone that is not like me before.

This is a description of the ring called Nîthoneth and how it came in my care. All of this is written with the knowledge that I posses.

Appearance: The band is made out of bronze and is tight around the finger. An onyx is inlayed at the top of the ring. No further decorations or inscriptions can be seen on the ring with the naked eye.
