A strange find

Last week I found a strange silver ring lying on the ground. It's very small and so thin and delicate you can hardly even see it. There is a tiny green gem set into the ring - oddly enough it was the gem which caught my attention, and I only noticed the actual ring when I picked it up and held it in the light.
The ring looks quite clean and it was resting on a small pile of leaves, so it can't have been there for long. I wonder who it belongs to..?
