First Drink in Forlaw

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

After we camped a few fours away from the skirmish, and got rest, we continued on until we reached Forlaw. It was the city of Wildermoore, where even in the wilds, there is always hope and civilization, or so father said. It was decided that we would count our supplies here, have some drinks, and tell our tales to all that would listen. For today, father deemed be to be able to have a small, small pint of ale. I was almost getting to the point of manhood, at least, I think I am. I'm mature, strong, and did just kill my first orc today.

Drunken Memories

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The pain was unbearable. Intense, throbbing pain unlike anything Taraborn had felt before. It felt like a troll was pounding against his head over and over. The solid, uneven surface he was lying on was not his bed. He slowly opens his eyes, only to quickly squeeze them shut and shield them with his hand. It was as though the light were daggers entering his skull. Slowly he gets accustomed to the light and looks about, still needing to shield his eyes.

There was a chill in the night air as all the folk were returning to their homes. Many drunk from their drinking, and everyone else weary from their reveling. The dim lamps shone yellow upon the dirt paths and only two figures remained out that night. They stood side by side upon the path before the Mead hall, silent, still as statues.

Of Sisters and Family Bonds

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Night fell upon Bree and there was an icy chill in the air. Though Winter was fading for Spring there came snow down upon the quiet town, the folk were all preparing to sleep and two girls who seemed out of place walked the streets of Bree. The girls were of flaxen hair, taller than the Bree-folk, and they had blue eyes. They wore casual tunics that were well cared for, no stains could be seen upon it and they were kept neat.

Fried Fish, Onions, and Strange Encounters - Part I

What kind of Adventure is this?:

A short tale of the dealings with strange folk in the lands of Men between the mountains of Eriador, and also a celebration of the simple joys of life as seen from a minor company of dwarves (or "dwarrows" if you like).
