Ruins

In preparation for the journey south, a report was needed on the most recently-known conditions of the ruins of Eregion. Diruviel wrote the following and submitted it promptly to Hiril Tingruviel, as requested.

The Black Steel are in Garth Agarwen, at an area with a large, raised stone dais and surrounded by knee deep, blood red water. They have just fought a strange wight, that echoed their words and wouldn’t seem to go do despite being hit repeatedly. Yet after taking many blows at once, it exploded into many pieces.

I spoke to Ranger Orchalwë, who told me about the Fields of Twilight. The area, just east of Tinnudir, once was an area with large estates belonging t noble families. Now the estates are long fallen into ruin, but they still hold significant historical value and there are still evidence of this to be found. However, in recent years, with the dwindling numbers of the Rangers and the increase in evil activity the ruins have fallen into total decay and disintegration.

After Nethdir left to sneak a glance at this woman's pack, I was able to observe the woman who called herself "Silver." She didn't seem like the kind to harm others, but her optimistic attitude made me recoil. No one should be that pleased. It doesn't help that she keeps calling us "Dear." Yuck.
