In the Hills

“Get down!” Till hissed, grabbing Kane's arm and yanking him back behind the fallen tree.

The young man had been about to stride out from cover. He didn’t resist her; he did as she had bidden - but he did raise an eyebrow. Doubting her. So she glared at him.

“What part of stealth are you finding so difficult to understand?”

They crossed the huge bridge, saying 'Farewell' to all the lands either of them had known. The far side was a mystery. They had both heard a few tales of the lands of the grave robbers, Evendim was not a very wholesome place. Yet the strange Ranger folk kept watch. Neither of them needed telling that though sometimes harsh, those Rangers wanted the best for folk.

The Price of Information

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Yrill rode ahead as they crossed the High King’s bridge yet again. Her heart was still beating unnaturally fast. She still felt like retching. They had the information they needed, but would she or Culufinnel have been capable of attaining it? The Captain of Celondim was a staunch soldier, but he had turned aside. She herself would only have acted so under dire need. And had it not been dire need? All she knew was she was thankful Estarfin had been with them.

A Need for Information.

As Yrill and Captain Culufinnel continued their pursuit, he asked again, “You are certain this is the correct way? We have wasted enough time.”

Back on The Road: Meeting of the travellers and the incoming reinforcements

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

I moved around the land, with my older brother beside me, keeping the other soldiers in the distance. "I told you, we shouldn't stop too much as it will delay us." Forchuil then said towards me as I pretended not to hear him. I was more focused on the fact that my wife was gone for so long and yet I has been sent out here as a reinforcement. The only one good thing about that fact was a possible reunion with my ranger friend.

Lone Arrow: Meeting under Strange Circumstances

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I have left Tinnudir as soon as my tutor allowed it, since I am still a young guardian of these lands. The fellow rangers there already told me that my mother was seen with a gathering, moving towards Ost Forod and that was later confirmed by my brother, Faethuil.

After writing this, the young ranger moved on to catch up with those she wanted to encounter but all she found was her brother talking with a Gondorian Man.
