“Look papa! The Combe Watch! They’re doin’ training exercises!” A young girl squealed, pointing towards a throng of assembled watchers stood outside the training hall, stretching with their spears, “D’you reckon I could be one of them when I’m older?”

She was his summer, but he longed to see her go,

He said he'd never leave her but he longed to watch her go. 

A/N: And thus comes to end a five-parter story that I enjoyed writing immensely. Thank you to everyone who gave some time of their day to read this and I hope it was as enjoyable to read as it was for me to write and plan in my head. If there's any feedback you'd like to leave feel free to PM over the mail system. The next story is either something concerning my Elf or takes place a decade back into Alex's past.

The Forngarmo was spending the night in the forests of Bree-Land like usual, but suddenly she felt the teeth on her right leg then heard howling nearby. She woke up reaching for her sword but then Valor, her wolf came closer to her, revealing that it wasn't a threat and it was just him. She looked at him and sighed with relief, laughing at her own temper. She then sat down, wondering why he came to her in the middle of the night as he was never doing that and what's more important - Why he woke her like this.

It has been a while since I last wrote about my business of late but I believe its time to collect my thoughts once more.

First off there is the matter of Fiontann and Rothrian, suddenly they have returned to Breeland and with them they brought a heap of trouble.
On the day I got to see them again I got lured into a trap, almost died of smoke inhalation, got trapped in a cave, had a unpleasant encounter with the orcs of Cirith Nûr and that within the span of what may have been an hour or two at most.
