Mum and dad have returned, I have spoken to them. They were devastated, but so happy that I was safe and unharmed (I didn’t mention the spider bite, I think it is much better now, Blake’s salve really helped!). They looked at the house, dad says it will require some amount of wood and a lot of scrubbing to get it back into a good condition. However, the most devastating news were the wooden shed that had burnt down. All our supplies are destroyed. We have nothing to work with and nothing to sell.

Admittedly, I didn’t sleep much… I was too worried about everything that has happened. I never thought things could change so quickly. Just yesterday morning I was upset there is not enough adventure in my life, and now I have a headache from thinking about how best to save my town. 

I have no work for the day, mum and dad are both away with Lizzie to Bree for the big market. Once again dad had said no to me coming along, but I am 16 now and he did said that next time I can go. I can’t wait, I want to see the whole world, but why not start with Bree!

Daisy was pleased to find her friends, Lowenna and Rowena, waiting for her on the other side of the door. She stepped outside and embraced each in turn. They were gratified to learn that she was doing alright, despite her lack of sleep. She then let them in to see how the man they helped rescue was faring. Each remarked in hushed voices how different he looked now compared to when they discovered him held captive in the camp.

These past weeks have been fortunate with me, I was able to find a job as a wood-worker at the Combe Lumber-camp, which had been quite successful, however, I had found a better job, one which would pay more. Alongside this fine job, I had found a good chance for love. Elfcwyn. I had asked her if she would want to take a chance, but she had declined, however, she had said that she does fancy me but needs more time.

It was a day like any other for Fiontann, he was sitting somehow apart from the Company, but kept his on them, as well as the townsfolk, he was expecting an attack on Eaworth any day, after his Company burned the orc encampment. They were all there, together, around the fire, talking, he was next to a house, sitting on a stump of a tree, holding a jar full of ale, as always.

The sky was dark and cloudy, and Katrandil was making her way to Imladris alone, clad in nothing but some rags that made her look like a Dunlending. How she came to the possession of them, no-one knows. With nothing but the shards of a broken sword and a pouch of water, she was trying to find shelter in the night.
