Vagnur's Marching Poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

The sun has already began to climb,
And already have we wasted time.
We keep our pace and march ahead,
To reach our goal so do not fret.

To war or kin we may now go,
With axe in hand we walk in tow.
Our packs may weigh and feet may feel,
Yet dwarves keep strong despite ordeal.

A gravel path or stone paved way,
We must march on without dismay.
Our halls await with open door,
So before the dusk we walk some more.

A perilous journey - 4th entry - Still The Old Forest

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Many days have passed since my last entry, and I have tried to deepen my conviction to not use up too much of this little journal too fast.
However, developments have been ongoing during the time the ink was absent from these pages. My exploration of this forest has led me deeper and deeper among the shadow of its trees, careful to not upset its sensitivities, yet determined regardless to find what ever knowledge it has to offer.

A perilous journey - 3nd entry Old Forest

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

A few days have passed since I last sat down to fill these pages. I would have written every single day, yet I wish to restrain myself some, to not fill this small journal too fast.

A perilous journey - 2nd entry Bree

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Yesterday I arrived in Bree, and my first action was to take almost all of father's scrolls and books to the local archives. The scholars there thanked me greatly and rewarded me with a small amount of coin, less than I had hoped for, yet I shall comfort myself with the thought that surely father's collection will bring benefit to the local people.
Motte certainly seemed relieved to find me emptying the saddle bags, however, they will be filled again, though hopefully nothing returning to them will weigh as much as those books.

A perilous journey - 1st entry

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

(A small leather bound journal of a reddish brown, some pages previously having been torn from it, as well as the first pages filled with some notes about plants, some unfinished poems, and a list apparently written for a shopping trip to the market. The following lines, the first of what appears to have turned into a diary.)

Departure at Dawn

Just before dawn, with the first signs of morning red rising on the horizon, Atharan sets out upon the south road towards Enedwaith. A journey that will take him roughly 4 to 5 days if he ride fast and is in luck.
Unlike the road that heads towards the Trollshaws first and then to Enedwaith, this journey will be far shorter, but more dangerous!

Though its for a first that he departs with a heavy heart after saying his goodbye to Ruby. But he is certain they will be reunited soon.

Departure from Imladris

Today I leave Imladris with a company of my kin to begin my journey West to the Havens. I and several of my fellow students, all apprenticed to Master Erestor, have been charged with cataloguing the documents from the First and Second Ages found in the libraries of Mithlond. I know that part of my heart will always remain in the vale where I was born and raised, but at the same time I cannot wait to see the lands of western Eriador. Who knows what adventures may await me?

In the aftermath of Osgiliath

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Aethylwen breathed in the morning air and groaned as she sat up. After 12 days traveling afoot, she felt every one of her 35 years upon her. She dimly recalled a time, 18 years ago, when she felt that the trip from Lossarnach to Minas Tirith had spanned the whole of Middle Earth, and smiled slightly at the memory. Her companion was nowhere in sight, but Aethylwen was used to it. Berengol would often scout ahead before they broke camp in the mornings. She had no idea how far they had traveled, but she felt sure they were getting close.
