Words in a Book, Nine

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I got there with barely any time to spare. I knew the babe was coming soon. I could feel the pains of contractions. They were getting closer, steadier, I wanted to urge my horse faster but I dared not. I could also feel something was wrong with him. I did not know what, I found out later, after I gave birth. I gave birth to a boy. We have a son now. I wish I could say I spent some time with him, recovering, letting him see his son more before he would yet again leave on some vast trip, but it was not to be. It was short lived. A mouthy lass had to put her two coppers into my life.

The Torn Journal: Entry III

Diary

So here I am, Tinnudir after all those years. This place means much to me as this is the only place I really call home. It might be weird for a traveller like me to call 'a town' home but I was born here. Many years passed since I last have seen the Nenuial Lake and walked these paths. Yet I have no time to enjoy it all. We will leave this town in the morning and sail towards the ancient city of Annuminas. So many things to do and not enough time for anything. It makes me sad but I know that someday I will return and settle down in these lands.

Dyghus, the Great Strength, Chapter II: Prove Thy Worth

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

It has been two days and well into noon, by now. Despite so, this did not trouble Nenusidh, perhaps it was one of the reasons why he had to set out so quickly, which was the journey will be a while in itself. He has made way into the steep hills of Nan Amlug, the area where the forest breaks into hill and deep valleys.

Preparations

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

The days seem to go quickly, as I stay with Zandrianna and help her prepare for the birth of her child.  She is amazing, calm and energetic at once, peaceful and nervous. One never knows her reaction from hour to hour, though even when she is fretting over things she is a joy to be around.  I find her presence to be a balm for my battered spirits, lifting me where naught else has.

The Twilight Blossom

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The year was 495 of the first age years of the sun. The place was a small park area in Gondolin. It was the height of spring and the world had come to life: baby birds tweeted from their hidden nests, crying out to be fed; the first of the summer bees buzzed around the carpet of bluebells, snowdrops and daffodils, feasting on the delights contained within.

Dearest sister,

Joyous tidings I bring forth to you in this letter. But two eves ago, Andarne and I welcomed our child into the world. The child is indeed a son, like our dreams told us he would be. I am so happy!
