Durin's Folk

We are into the new year, and that means a new round of markets to trade at. It felt appropriate to start the round just after Yule, with one at Frerin's Court, near Thorin's Hall. Many of us are from the area, so it was especially convenient. I did a particularly brisk trade, although rather shamefully, I had already run out of cloaks before I reached the market! I should have known better in the depths of winter!

Gondamon

Frimsi was messing up his beard, delicately smearing soot at just the right parts. Another young Dwarf, dour and sturdily built, grumbled as he followed suit. Frimsi smiled in the mirror once he finished his curious craft, “There we go! Perfect! Just like a petty-dwarf!” Frimsi glanced at the other Dwarf, “You however…I think you are missing a spot right here Nislina”. Frimsi jokingly gestured at a random spot on his own beard.

The well-apportioned Military Hall of Durin’s Folk served as the setting for the Mountain Council, as the Dwarf-lords named it.  Lord Thorslin of the Blue Mountains Regiment took a seat opposite Frimsi Gembeard, who sat in the place of Lord Thordralin<
