I stepped out onto the narrow path directly in front of Gilastor. With swift management, Estarfin halted the mighty warhorse a few feet from me. He met my eyes with an expression that would have feared most folk. He was furious.

The Midsummer Feast

The elves rode out from their halls, heading east, for Parnard had told them of a place that would be ideal for their feast, a fair green place, remote, far away from the eyes of prying mortals, Men and Halflings alike. Their progress was slow, as the victuals were transported by pony cart.

Midsummer by the Lake

Parnard's plan for a Mirkwood style Midsummer make an enjoyable change of pace, as he, Estarfin, Danel and Filignil head for a lakeside spot with a clear view of the stars. There is plenty to eat and drink, and it seems Sogadan has even sent a keg of Dorwinion red to his old friend. 

Parnard's seems to be a good influence on the formidable Filignil, as she even apologies to he and Estarfin for her hasty judgment of them. And Danel has been busy crafting gifts....
