Amanda is a young girl currently of age of fourteen that can normally be found either sitting at the barrels at the back of the Prancing Pony Inn or standing near the pillar closer to the fire. Her birth mother left her when she was eight and sadly died a few years later though the exact date is unknown.

As she grew up, she grew close to Kristophor, a figure who she looked to as a father, in replacement for the much needed relative she never came to know. He stayed by her side from the time she was eight till the unfortunate time came when he told her he had to leave due to illness and would never be returning, but after a few weeks turned into months (or so it felt), Kristophor returned to Bree, resulting in Amanda not being as worried about him, not needing to constantly worrying if he was okay, hurt or worse anymore, but she still worries about him if he's away for a long time due to work, she's worried he'll overwork himself and hurt himself more than he already is hurt... During her time spent with him, she met a woman who she looked to as a mother, another person to replace the missing piece she so craved for. This lady left and still has yet to return. It was due to all this loss of friends and family figures that Amanda understandably became wary of trusting people and forming attachments. She felt that no sooner did she get used to a person, the person would leave.
