The air was cold, the sun hiding under the horizon as the moon gave a soft glow to the earth, she lay there, unconscious and cold... The bitter night winds blowing hard against her bare arms, the ground tickling her as her head fell to the side, her hair falling to the other... Something seemed different about her, she lay unmoving on the ground, completely opposite than her normal, smiling and laughing nature, her glazed over eyes on the sky, completely different than her constantly joy-filled eyes, blood seeping through her once white shirt with one hand on top of the now red, blood-stained shirt... Blood puddling out from under her, and out from under her long raven black hair...
Suddenly, a high pitched voice screamed as twigs broke, "Mama!!" the voice called as a young girl ran over, quickly falling to her knees by her mother's side and taking her hand with hers, squeezing tight before seeing the blood, letting the woman's hand go with one hand and putting her other hand against the blood on the woman's abdomen, pushing on it gently, looking around quickly, the girl screamed out, "Help me!! Someone!! Please!"
There was silence in the area, no response to the girls call, the girl let go of the woman's other hand and put it on the wound, quickly taking her cloak off and quickly putting it against the wound, trying to see past the tears falling freely from her eyes, her entire being trembled as she cried loudly, her hands bloodied as she tried to stop the bleeding, eventually giving up and sitting on her knees by the woman's side, putting her bloody hands on the woman's cheeks, speaking through her tears, "Mama, please stay with me!" the girl hunched over onto the woman's chest, sobbing heavily as her left hand fell onto the woman's shoulder, and her right arm wrapped around the woman as she cried, looking up to the sky and screaming out, "Why did you do this?! Why do you take people from me?! What did I ever do to you!?"
Amanda woke up in a startle, she sat up quickly on the ground in a cold sweat, breathing heavily as she looked around quickly, with a soft "Mama?", she slowly laid down and looked up at the sky, quietly saying, "I'm sorry Mama... I should've been there to save you... I promise I'll be better... I'll try and be that girl you used to know, because I'm not her anymore... I promise..." she put one hand on her abdomen, exactly where the bloodstain originated from on her mother, closing her eyes and soon falling asleep again, her other hand softly clasping her swan necklace...
