Snow in Cardolan

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

We travelled slowly uphill, past the Stonecrop Encampment where we had arranged to meet up with Captain Culufinnel and along the road towards Herne. He was waiting by the crossroads there, and looked as if he may have been for some time. The Captain let out a single deep sigh of relief as he saw us, the warmth from which misted the air before him, showing pale against the leaden sky.

Daughter of the Fairy King

For the next bedtime I chose to begin tellin' me grandkids a different type of story: an epic adventure. I also thought me stories might be more interestin' if the hero or heroine seemed a more like one of 'em:

Beannaithe Teased

Even small differences from one's peers can be the source of derision. Beannaithe's insect wings and her inability to speak are BIG differences.

Pellas

Pellas
Status:
Active
Race:
Elf
Background:

In the veiled vales of Imladris, where the Bruinen sang secrets to the stars, Pellas was born in Quellë of the year 100 T.A. of Erestor's line. Her father, the stoic archivist whose quill had traced the threads of the Elder Days, poured into her the lambengolmar's fire: the sinuous coils of Quenya runes, the lamenting cadences of Sindarin lays, the hidden geometries of Tengwar that bound word to world.

The Dwarrow Ting

Calling all Dwarves to Thorin’s Hall! With Lord Dwalin’s blessing, Uzbad Frimsi of Durin’s Folk seeks to revive the ancient tradition of the Dwarrow Ting. This is a meeting in which all Dwarves active in Ered Luin are welcome to attend so as to share plans for great works and to join each other in good fellowship. Dwarves of all kinds are welcome, whether they be in a kinship or not. It is the ancient custom of the Dwarrow Ting that every Dwarf that wishes to speak shall be heard regardless of his status.

Merchant's Guild Council Meeting

Come join the merchants of Bree-land as they bicker endlessly over trivial matters in the Merchant’s Guild Council Meeting. The Merchant’s Guild is an advisory body to the Mayor and as such has no real, direct political power. So the Mayor will likely discard or ignore the majority of petitions sent to him by the Merchant’s Guild. But the fun of political RP is in the process, not the results!

An Unexpected Market

Come one and all to this month’s Unexpected Market! This is a RP market event that will be a bit different than the usual Dwarven Caravan Markets that Durin’s Folk hosts. Once every few months there will be an Unexpected Market in which the Dwarves of Durin’s Folk visit some exotic, distant trading settlement that is well off the usual Dwarven trade routes. So come and join the Dwarves of Durin's Folk as they travel to random trading settlements across Middle-Earth in order to bring to them wealth and prosperity! And perhaps a healthy measure of mischief too!

First Bree Commons Day Success...?

What type of content is this?:
Artwork: Drawing

I'm going to try to make artwork for each BCD I attend! Here is Arlis, trying to sell her and her family's products at a stall for the first time, later in the day. She's quite clumsy about it all, but Frimsi, her first customer, took mercy on her and bought some Dwarf-Steel.

Rohan's Best Offer

What type of content is this?:
Screenshot: General screen

After a long and harrowing journey, the Dwarves of Durin's Folk finally arrive in Rohan with their ale shipment intact. They marvel at the famed Golden Hall of Edoras looming in the distance and contemplate whether or not it has real gold or just the figurative kind. Shildrin remarks that this beautiful city must be the most civilization Rohan has to offer.
