The following are recaps of session 3 and 4 of Where Webs Whisper. Originally starting as 'Muck and Mystery in the Marshes' the story campaign grew larger. Enjoy!
Bounding and bellowing through the smoke and flames, calling out to my friends, but all I can hear are pained cries and foul chattering. The sound of metal slicing flesh and chopping bone plagues my ears, while the sounds of clicking and hissing drive me to near madness. I had come back hoping to be greeted with warmth and kinship, but instead, I am left with the sounds of pain, torture and doom.
Since he done Skunkwood and his cronies in, Tarnon found himself very busy. The hunt for brigands continued, because the flame of vengeance was still burning hot.
The Black Steel and the Dwarves attacked an goblin camp. However, a strange creature that took the form of a goblin and a dog appeared and took Gaeded away.
While waiting for dawn to break, giving light to treacherous paths down into the lower vales of Ered Luin, Nunheryn plays music full of sorrow… and I… I dance of joy beneath the stars while tears slowly trickle down my cheeks. Ai! Such are the simple pleasures of life: music, dancing, laughter … and the stars.
Amarth faeg! Where have goblins found this Torog? Somehow they have managed to goad it to go rampaging down into the lower vales. The goblins are spiteful creatures, and this deed will not go unpunished! Nunheryn, my "gardener", helps me to put down the mindless beast.
The Glamrim, the goblin tribes, of Ered Luin are usually not a bother, but somehow a bold chieftain has united a few of them and began making forays into the lower vales of Ered Luin. Several of the more isolated households have been troubled and there is a need to assess just how well organized they are. Nunheryn, my "gardener", has accompanied me up into the high passes to survey the situation. He is a boon as companion on journeys such as this one.
