Hunting at midnight

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

This story took place decades ago. It gives a description of the first time Dínenor was hunting trolls amongst other Dúnedain out in the Trollshaws. The story could be roughly known to rangers originating from the northern Trollshaws.

Dínenor looks up to the sky. It is full of clouds, the moon shafts sparsely through the leaves of the trees. The only light in the deep of the night is coming from three torches.

Dunnarwen kicked at Gilloth's sides to make the mare go faster. The thunder of hooves echoed on the path leading to the Last Bridge, and behind her...well, were two very angry and very mangy bears. Watching him go, she felt an unexpected pang of emotion and smiled at him her eyes shining with unshed tears for the lost kittens and for his act of kindness. She sighed, suddenly realizing they would likely have no means to care for a litter of lynx kits. She rubbed her head and looked at the fire, there would have to be some way. She rolled out one of the furs near the flames and set to work cutting up the deer carcass for cooking and drying.

A Different People II

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Braigion had many days to be left alone with his prize. He collected enough wood to begin to cook the bear meat, and there was plenty of hide to make repairs (somewhat) to his torn clothing and perhaps make new ones…if he could find the necessary equipment. He took some of the bear’s teeth and managed to tie knots in his poofed up hair to keep them in place. Braigion had enough meat as well to have his fill…for a normal elf that is, but the Avar was still famished.
