PLEASE NOTE: An image created by AI is appended to this story which some may find suggestive of violence. It does not show 'intense violence or gore' or a bloody scene or the likes, and is therefore, in my view, entirely PG-13 and in keeping with the site rules. However, it is only right and proper to forewarn accordingly.

Reality of Loss

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The first steps in the grassy fields of Evendim lit the party up with relief. The darkness of the haunted North Down lands are behind them. But yet for one of the party, a new weight sets in, a weight of reality of loss. But she pressed through, going forward to be the main figure of the party. And the party eventually made it to Ost Forod.

“Get down!” Till hissed, grabbing Kane's arm and yanking him back behind the fallen tree.

The young man had been about to stride out from cover. He didn’t resist her; he did as she had bidden - but he did raise an eyebrow. Doubting her. So she glared at him.

“What part of stealth are you finding so difficult to understand?”

The Fourth Age: A Letter by Hawk

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

After being done with the 'trials'  the Forngarmo felt the closeness of her past home and recalled a conversation with one of the Orders' members. She quickly left the group and moved away carefully, not leaving any clues behind. She knew that the other thing she would have to do is to send another letter to her children, but first - she decided to send a letter to her brother-in-arms.

- Here, my kin dwelled for many ages, I feel..so strange to walk among this walls. I wish to see Annuminas, town upon Evendim. - Hiath stood as watching village among ruins, he wrapped arm around Briannons waist and kept her close as first stars appeared.

- Then we should. We already planned to return over the Oatbarton pass, one day or two.. - Briannon looked up to Hiath - Gwenlind is safe with Fairen, she is my blood, and Fairen never betrayed my trust. So one or two days delay.. would only worry Cynric, but we can say some excuse.. -

Restless night, she was glad that night has come and succumbed before dawn and day. Sleep was restless and haunted with damned dreams. The faster they pack and cross this cursed lands toward Evendim gates, the better.

- Aaaah! - Briannon yawns as blinking at the first rays of sun rising behind hills in the east.

- Cup of tea, my Skylark? - Hiath asked with smile that softened his tired expression. He didnt sleep at all.
