Naridalis presents the graceful, composed presence typical of the Elves of Lothlórien. Her features are finely drawn, high cheekbones, smooth alabaster skin, dark blonde hair tied back in a practical manner, and sharp, intelligent eyes beneath neatly arched brows. She wears a deep green, leaf-patterned tunic reinforced with intricately tooled leather armor, adorned with golden clasps and shoulder guards shaped like stylized wings or leaves, both decorative and functional.

Background

Naridalis of Lórien
Hunter of the Wildwood, Watcher of the Grey Road

Born beneath the golden boughs of Caras Galadhon, Naridalis is the daughter of Ceneshar, a minor nobleman in the Golden Court of Lothlórien. Yet the home she knew faded after her mother’s death. Her father grew cold, his grief turning to scorn for mortals, and she, caught in the quiet between them, slipped away. Long before the War of the Ring, she took to the wider world, not for glory, but to heal something hollowed within.

She wandered far: to Forochel's sunless wastes, the Shire's green hush, and the thawing heights of the Blue Mountains. Her bow and quiet tread became her armour. In time, she joined the Company of the East Road, a kinship of merchants, wanderers and protectors. In them, she found not only fellowship, but a cause: mortals striving to build peace against rising dark. She chose to help them hold that fragile hope.

But when rumours stirred, of crimes, of blood, of betrayal within and caused by elements of the Company Naridalis stood at a crossroads. She watched as friends turned to strangers, as honour strained against necessity. And when the road darkened beyond repair, she did the unthinkable: she wrote to her father for help... knowing the price would be her freedom. The price: her return to Lórien.

She returned eastward, shadowed by memory and duty. But her path did not end there. She turned once more from her father, and came west again, not unchanged, but tempered by a harrowing experience she narrowly managed to survive.

Now, Naridalis has returned to the Company, to help reforge it anew. She does not seek command; instead she lends her steadiness, her eyes upon the road, her bow at the ready. To do what the Company had always set out to do. To protect those along the great East Road.

Her faith lies not in heroes, but in the quiet resolve of companions who might walk beside her and share this duty. She knows now that the world is not bound by light and shadow alone, but shaped in the grey between.

It is along that grey road that her tale continues, told in the chronicles of Signs Along the Road.
