Urging on my mare to a gallop, it took but moments to draw alongside him. Was he yet smiling at me? Nay, by then he wore his usual nonchalant expression. But I knew!

By first light we had reached the old camp the wandering folk oft used. And with that dawn, Belegos caught up with us. He did not consider us much of a challenge to track, he said with a smile.

We agreed when we met in Imlad Gelir that we would ride to the coast, to Celondim initially. Having spent a few months wandering, perhaps spending a few months in one place, and that a place Estarfin had said he would like to see again, would be a good thing to do.

I run ahead in my retelling of events. Something came to pass more recently that the tale of our wanderings East of the Hithaeglir need wait a little.

We walked to our horses, both stabled close by. I would not say I had peace, but I think I had more of a measure of where I was going than I had since Belegos introduced me to his friend a few years ago.

No Return to Cuivienan?

There is no literal return to the place of Awakening in the East, that much is almost certain. But Danel has another idea, and motivation through her love for a Kinslayer. Creating their own 'Cuivienen' is still a possibility, if they can overcome their respective pasts.
