When the mellyrn sowed gold in all darkness deep

Alone Nimrodel walked in bare light feet

Shadow and strife she could no longer stand

Since in grief was her heart and the end was at hand

Story

If their sister Thibinoriel had accompanied them on this journey, Eregiel and Calentauriel may have heard her share this background information about their destination:

Amroth, a Grey Elf living in the Sylvan realm of Laurelindórenan east of the Hithaeglir, was a prince. He became king after his father Amdír was slain during the fateful Battle of Dagorlad at the end of the Second Age.

The Nimrodel Falls

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

When the mellyrn sowed gold in all darkness deep

Alone Nimrodel walked in bare light feet

Shadow and strife she could no longer stand

fare thee well, nimrodel

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

nimrodel, nimrodel
i knew her well, she who fell
into the mists beyond retrieve
one dark and still remorseless eve.

ah nimrodel, fair nimrodel
forget not those who yonder dwell
in place of light and joy and song
we'll sing of you, forever long.

so nimrodel, sweet nimrodel
rest now and never tell
of we fair few and the mobs we slew
when everything was well.

Tears Of Nimrodel

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

~~O fare thee well

My gentle stream where I dwelled by many ageless days

Flashing Silver under bright sun rays

Was my voice a-ringing

sounding Like a bell

Sad and sweet

Splashing with silver feet

Now it will toll like a knell

and Weaves a mournful spell

Bathed in sunlight or in shade

Do not forget your gentle maid

Where I would sit and charm

Fishes gold and grey

Amroth and Nimrodel

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

I sing a tale of loss and woe,

A maiden gone, a lord laid low,

Of love destroyed and hope that fell,

Of Amroth and his Nimrodel.

They say she wandered lands of old,

Beneath the blessed trees of gold,

Before the times of strife and fear,

When others came and settled near.
