Arnor

A torn page

What type of content is this?:
Artwork: Drawing

A page torn from an ancient book of history. From what can be gleaned from the text it was part of a book on the Great Houses of Arnor, specifically House Tarma.

It is written in Tengwar. I shall translate the text below:

The Running River

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The hamlet of Hamglen, nestled near Bree, wakes to a chilly morning as the first light of the sun pierces through the mist that blankets the small homesteads. The thatched roofs of the cottages glisten with a thin layer of frost, and the air carries a crisp bite that hints at the arrival of colder days. The chimneys release tendrils of smoke that rise lazily into the cool atmosphere, and the village folk, wrapped in warm woolen cloaks, move with purpose through the cobbled streets. The autumn leaves crunch underfoot, releasing a fragrant earthy aroma.

Chasing the past

Author:
This chronicle is recorded by scribes, written on the basis of stories told by Kennet himself

This is the story of Kennet, a young bree-man son of farmers who started the scholar path. His adventures took him through the extincted Kingdoms of Arthedain, Rhudaur and Cardolan.

Lost ~ Part IV

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The ruins of some kind of establishment of Cardolan stood before Eira. The ruins were destroyed by time, crumbling and toppled. She scuffed her shoes as she took step after step towards the ruins. The ancient stonework was etched in symbols of Numenorean heritage. The numerous walls were carved with stars, historical events, important people... Only a handful Eira could point out, from before the Fall of Numenor. Half Black Numenorean, she had been taught history through the perspective of the King's Men, not the Faithful.

Seregrian continued to eat, saying "But come, Eira, begin your tale while we dine."

All that is gold does not glitter,

Not all those who wander are lost;

The old that is strong does not wither,

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,

A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed shall be blade that was broken,

The crownless again shall be king.

Evendim Journal Entry 1: Tinnudir

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Nindrahil had asked me to travel north, to Evendim. I know Nindrahil wishes she could go herself, but as the leader of the Custodians and with the current changes within the group she had to remain in our great hall.

The Last Bridge

What type of content is this?:

Whether the Last Bridge was built by the Arnorians or previous inhabitants of Eriador as far back as the First Age is unknown. The bridge fell under the domain of Arnor and then Rhudaur who maintained it. The Last Bridge marked the only crossing point over the Mitheithel (River Hoarwell) south of the Ettenmoors.

Fornost Erain

What type of content is this?:
Screenshot: General screen

After Annúminas was abandoned, Fornost Erain became the capital of Arnor and then Arthedain after the split. The name itself means "Northern Fortress of the Kings." It was destroyed in 1974 of the Third Age during the war against Angmar, leaving the city a mass ruin. In the language of men it was known as Norbury with the nickname Deadman's Dike as it was believed to be haunted and avoided at all costs. Only the Rangers of the North were ever seen entering the city and none knew of what they did within.
