Regarded by some as 'the First Ranger,' Thorneth was the Captain of the Rangers of Arthedain, a small force of scouts and hunters who rallied under her command in the waning years of that kingdom to counter Angmarim raiding parties. When her brother betrays the kingdom out of jealousy and false promises of power, Thorneth must embark on a desperate journey to seek aid from the Elves of Rivendell in order to redeem her family name and save her people.
