With music and real friendship, we aim to bring peace and harmony in the Shire without competition or pressure, free among the hobbits, a symbol of unity, a beacon of hope.
ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE SHIRE
Beneath the broad tides of a peaceful Shire society, there flow the stealthy undercurrents of a group of very secretive hobbits, which frequently determine in the depth the changes that take place upon the surface. Shire Rose is the name given to this secretive group of hobbits.
Historically, the name refers specifically to a small silver pendant of a small crest with a white rose in it called The Shire Rose. Legends tell of this fabled precious item as belonging to a hobbit hero, and lost during a great journey west.
The Kinship was founded by yule on the 9th of Thrimidge 3018 by Shire reckoning. During a secret meeting at the Bird and Baby Inn in Michel Delving under the name Shire Rose, the kin was born with an initial membership of eight. The group was made up of free but very carefully selected hobbits with the mission of protecting the ancient lore, preserving legends, tales, and music, supporting friends, and protect the Shire Rose pendant from evil, unseen and unheard.
The kin is now establishing quietly, preferring to keep a low profile, members acts as a shadowy and secretive group, looking after and guiding their affairs through missions, cooperation, and alliances with friends. In this context, the Shire Rose hobbits are believed to be the masterminds behind many events that will lead to the preservation and promulgation of historical lore and traditions of the hobbits.
