Lothlorien

The negotiations between the Galadhrim and the Iron Garrison are in progress and are almost immediately agreed upon. Celeborn has readily pledged a contingent of Elven archers to return to the Mines of Moria with Bosi, along with stock and provision for a prolonged siege. Bosi in turn provides the Elves with tidings of the progress in the Mines, and every priceless piece of news regarding the foes within.

The embassy to the Galadhrim has not long to rest at Mekhem-bizru before setting out once more before dawn, headed down the course of the Silverlode to Lothlorien. As before, Seregrían and Bosi ride together in front of their escort, hoping the display of Elf and Dwarf riding in league may speed their passage into the Golden Wood.

The date and ink are so old that the writing is hard to make out. It is written in an older dialect of Sindarin. The pages of the journal that have been written on are yellowed and weathered and warping on the edges. The fact that it is preserved so well could only be attributed to elvish conservation methods.

Act III, Part XVI: Of Adventuring and the Battle under the Trees

Lusseriel was sitting barefoot and cross-legged under the lights in Cerin Amroth, thinking, her journal in her laps, her bag next to her, and her eyes on the stars above.

Chewing on a piece of flavourful wood, she finally shook herself and turned her eyes to her notebook and scribbled the date in a corner of the page.

Day 119 of exile

Lothlorien – a clump of trees with platforms clinging to them. I suppose it's rather pretty if you enjoy the elven style decor. I find it darn impractical as you need to climb flimsy ladders or walkways to get anywhere really. All though I must admit it is a tranquil place for an afternoon nap to sleep one off. And yes the wine is to die for.
