The slow fall of the sun into the west. The vale basks in the firery glow of evening. Astride a majestic steed, swaying in harmony to the graceful gait, sits an elf lord. Adorned in armour the like of which is rare. Even among the eldar. For it comes from a time and a land now buried beneath the sea. His return to Imladris, long delayed by the testing of his spirit, was now come.

"Captive" Guest.

Story

Braigion paid little heed to the tall elf riding ahead of him; the Avar merely sulked in frustration and sadness as the crazy horse he was forced to ride followed behind. It was a little better than being on foot, where every step would be extremely painful as a result from his foot nearly being chopped off by a bear trap. It started in the middle of the night, and Braigion was off hunting by the cover of darkness. The higher ones’ camp was a fair ways to the west, so he would not be seen and hopefully undisturbed by what seemed to be hunters…

Haldaer walks gracefully. Under the stars, his long held sorrow and pride mingle. He breaks out into song, his rich barritone capturing every emotion in every word sung.

Mourning Falls

Two weeks of dreams. Ships burning, confusion, cries of the dying. Dreams. Dreams of that day, oh cursed day. The day of stained souls. Haldaer quietly stood atop the falls in Imladris,  his sorrow and anger emanating from him. Eyes distant and face hard.

Lemya Vanima, Celondim

"Lemya vanima." His whispered prayer brought little comfort. For always it brought an unpleasant thought to his mind. You will fall into decay, when I, and all my folk are no more. When the time comes, and the eldar are found no more upon this side of the sea, their realms will crumble. Yet, pray over them while he remained he could. Haldaer closed his eyes and beseeched the very earth around him once more. "Lemya vanima, Celondim... Nin." Stay fair, Celondim...For me. Until I return.
