Chapter I – Strangest is the news that comes unexpectedly

Chapter I – Strangest is the news that comes unexpectedly

First that letter from the Hall and now some unexpected news. That business was a long time ago and it would have been best had it remained firmly in the past. Still, whatever my feelings about it the urgency was only too clear. I do wonder about this new fellow... probably nothing more than a coincidence but the link to the Old Fox troubles me greatly. Something is not like it ought to be here... but what exactly?

A Poem about what Hobbits like

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Hobbits like many good things it is true
Here is a poem where I'll mention a few

Hobbits like eating and feasting and drinking
Hobbits like most things that don’t involve thinking

Hobbits like orchards and hedges and flowers
Hobbits like like tending their gardens for hours

Hobbits like onions and lettuce and taters
Hobbits like carrots, and even more taters

Hobbits like cattle, and pigs, sheep and chickens
Hobbits like farming fresh veg for the picking

The Naughty Hobbit - A Poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

See the naughty hobbit
He's sitting on the chair
Keep your eyes close on him
For he gets everywhere

Throwing on an old cloak
He walks out with a bound
Looking to make mischief
Anywhere it's found

Sneaking into orchards
And taking lots of fruit
Filling up an old sack
With lots of apple loot

Scaring hobbit children
That play in the long grass
Acting like a goblin
They cry and run home fast

Chapter VII - Lost in the woods, Reports from Bree and a New Home.

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

It had been a quiet few days for Gormbard, apart from his regular chores the only task Master Foxtail had given him was to go meet a Dwarf that he had request help from. Master Foxtail had a good number of Mathoms that required some delicate restoration on and he knew that the Dwarfs had unprecedented crafting skill. The Dwarf was to meet Gormbard that Friday in The Green Dragon, which meant that Gormbards plan to use one of his disguises to do a bit of snooping would not be happening.

Chapter I - Gormbard, Bree and where it all went wrong

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Gormbard Lowbanks was born and raised in Bree. He followed in the other Lowbanks family footsteps and started training to become a Burglar. The Lowbanks were well known around Bree as a fine upstanding family who could be relied upon to provide a good Burglar when required. Gormbard had shown great promise as a Burglar but unfortunately he fell in with the bad crowd whilst drinking in the Prancing Pony.

To Catch a Catfish - A Poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

What is that in the stream?
That is swimming about
Is it Sturgeon or Bream?
A Bitterling or Trout?
And what's that on it face?
Are they whiskers I see?
So it can't be a Dace
A catfish it must be!

See it swimming at speed
It is keen to be fed
Quickly darting through weeds
On the cold river bed
And with piercing eyes
It sees something that squirms
Is it not a small fly
But a fat juicy worm!
