The Journey of Jonty - A Story, not a Poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Once upon a time there lived a young hobbit called Jonty
But this young hobbit was a bit different
For he had the blondest, curliest hair and he wore the very fanciest clothes
And he told everyone that he was a prince

"I am a prince!", he would say, "of a far away land"
"Where the rivers are gold, and trees are decked with the finest jewels"
"Music fills the air, and fairies dance in the field!"

Poem - The Bullroarer Trilogy - Part 1

The Speech

And so he strode in front the crowd
And standing tall, he said aloud
"My friends, my folk, my kith, my kin"
"The task we face is bleak and grim"
"A darkest threat is at our door"
"That threatens us for evermore"
"For evil's come with spears and knives"
"It has no care for hobbit lives"
"These Goblins that invade the Shire"
"Have brought with them their filth and fire"

Give me a smile - A Poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Give me a smile
I'll give you a twirl
Give me a hand
I've give you the world!
Play me some music
I'll sing you a song
We'll feel so much better
If friends sing along

Open the window
To let in the sunshine
Open the front-door
To let in the good times
Open your heart now
To friends all around
For when you feel welcome
There's joy to be found

The Sun will Rise - A Poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

The sun will rise to light your way
Although the Year now ends this day
But dark have been the recent nights
It seems that hope is far from sight
And all we see are clouds of grey

But often can our thoughts betray
And from our path we're lead astray
But just as birds have taken flight
The sun will rise

An Ode to the Green Dragon

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Now every Friday, every week
Green Dragon Inn is what we seek
In Bywater, it proudly stands
And folk they come, across the land

And what is it that draws us in
To Barmy's little humble Inn?
Why do we walk in through that door
Across the creaking wooden floor?

The ale perhaps? It taste's quite nice
And sold at quite a reasonable price
The food is quite enticing too
Though sadly pies are much too few...

Welcome to Songburrow Hall

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Though winter is here
The nights are much colder
Another year passes
We're all one year older
It's time for a party
So come one and all
We bid you all welcome
To Songburrow Hall

The tables are laden
With treats and delights
The logs on the fire
Are burning all bright
And ribbons and trinkets
Are hung on the wall
So celebrate yule time
In Songburrow Hall

The Hobbit Market - A Poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

The market place in Michel Delving square
It's full of many finely crafted things
And younger Hobbits really should go there
As well as those who like to dance or sing!

You'll know it when you hear the hobbits sing
For two days every fortnight it is there
And many useful goods the tradesfolk bring
The market place in Michel Delving square

Hobbit Cooks - A Poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

The Hobbit Cooks they make us treats
Like cakes and scones that taste so sweet
And best of all they make us pie
That tempting on the table lie
We're thankful for the food we eat

They cook all day, on busy feet
Whilst we await on comfy seats
Appreciate how hard they try
The Hobbit Cooks

Practice Will Make Perfect - Eventually

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

After the disaster of the jobs in Bree-land earlier this week, no hobbit could have been happier than I was last night at The Green Dragon. As I hadn't had much of an opportunity to practice my music this week, I managed to find my way there early. I setlled down in front of the hearth and happily plucked away for an hour or so.
