“Look papa! The Combe Watch! They’re doin’ training exercises!” A young girl squealed, pointing towards a throng of assembled watchers stood outside the training hall, stretching with their spears, “D’you reckon I could be one of them when I’m older?”

Its a nice warm spring day, Im sitting here on the porch, watching my wife and my daughter in the greenish grass thats our lawn. Its so wonderful and sweet to see them both, how I missed you Kat when you were gone..and Alaya, our sweet daughter that is her mother's copy so far, sweet and kind, never fuzzed about anything apart from being fed of course, she seems happy with life, so do Kat and so do I as well. Everything is falling into place for us for every day that goes by.

((Note: I have started using words found in the Parf Edhellen dictionary in the Laurelin Resources, particularly primitive elvish and Qenya words. They sound most Avari like. Regarding grammar or words that are considered to be 'no longer applicable', oh well.))

It was a cold winter, especially moreso in the northern regions such as the woods of Annúndir that resided between the Fields of Fornost and Kingsfell. Despite the temperature, the day was glowing, but the sun hid behind a mask of clouds. It was to be expected as light comes with heat, and if heat was masked so should light.

"She is my only family, you know? I can't let anything happen to her."

Elvealin knocked on the door of her parent's house in Lothlórien, wondering if they were home. Her father opened the door with a smile but also with a look of a surprise, since her presence in the Golden Wood was unannounced. But there was no doubt that they were happy to see her.
