A Little Action: Scouting the Dourhand Docks

Story

     Eduwiges of Faldham chuckled as she hunkered down flat against the cold ground over looking the river Luhn. The Dourhand dwarves guarding the docks could hardly keep themselves awake despite the fingers of the cold wind creeping up the river. The dwarves had little fire pots next to them for warmth but did little to keep them awake. Eduwiges was pleased that the little fires would not do much to help the dwarves' night vision either.

Chapter 2 - A Poor Man's Lodgings

Upon arriving in Bree it was clear that coin, or lack there of, would be my first concern.  What would be considered a moderate amount of coin out in Archet and the smaller villages beyond, now was nothing more than a pittance in a town such as Bree.  Subsequently this now made me a poor man.

A Journal Neglected

It has been around two years now since I first arrived in Bree and began my new life here.  In that time so much has changed, and yet it saddens me that so much still remains the same.

But once again I skip ahead.  It seems as though the weight of my current thoughts rise to the forefront of my mind, and unbidden they manifest themselves on the parchment in front of me.
