| Outward Appearance | Eduwiges is broad of shoulder and muscular. Her green eyes are rare for a person of the Mark and she has platinum, almost white flaxen hair. Her skill with a blade is unparalled. She carries two light scars from battle upon her face and is striking rather than pretty. Like most riders from the Mark her legs are bowed from many hours in the saddle. Eduwiges is barely out of her teens but her eyes have seen many things that would freeze most warrior's hearts. |

Background
Just after Eduwiges of Faldham was born in Edoras, her father, a lesser thane of the Mark, was sent to Faldham to aid in the defence of the settlement. Shortly after, her mother fell ill and died.
Eduwiges' father taught her the arts of a 'Horse and Rider' of the Mark but they became estranged when she was not allowed to join the ranks of the 'Elfward', the thane elfmar's elite guard. Eduwiges' father feared too much for her safety and rufused entry to her.
Embittered by this, Eduwiges packed her horse Oenone and made her way into the world.
Eduwiges' adventures have carried her across the lands of Middle Earth and she has earned the title of elf friend and is known to the Galadhrim. She is a master of her great sword Beadu Drut (battle friend) and her broadsword, Morinehtar (darkness slayer).
As darkness begins to envelop Eriador and rumors of Saruman's betrayal and invasion of the Mark spread, Eduwiges is desperate to return to the land of her kin and seeks to know if her father still lives.
