Mirkwood

A Lost Lord Brought to Light

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Our Lord Anglachelm was a mighty lord of the Hidden City of Gondolin of the Seven Fountains, that known as the Stone House, the Secret Place, the beautiful Flower of Tumladen, that Lily-of-the-Valley of the Ancient Realm of Beleriand, and though it is no more, he led a remnant of his people away, before its utter destruction, and helped found the Ancient House of Vanimar.

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Standing in the boat departing from the Mirk-eaves, embracing the vision of Loriéns glorious trees bathing in the golden light of the morning sun, I was unsure if I was leaving a home or setting out to find a new one.

Patrols and Concerns

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The skies had long darkened and although Faorie knew that her walk through the Trollshaws had already been thoroughly patrolled she couldn't help but to continue for another round. There was so much unfiltered concern running through her mind, one after the other, that her supposedly memorised route through the woods began to appear less definite.

Faorie accompanies Almrond into the darkness of the Drownholt where they find a pool of scattered dead bodies and poisonous fumes.

((Aah, nothing like some procrastination artwork! Since joining Laurelin, I've found that I've had a lot of opportunity to really think about my character; not the just her past or super terrible tragedies she's endured and carries with her throughout her journeys, but the little things. Habits, advice from her parents, the way she was brought up and treated as a child. I find that, those little things really shape and add depth to a character, since they influence a lot of how they think, act, or react.

The long road home VIII: Home and hearth?

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I have not written for many weeks. It is not that time has been uneventful - quite the contrary. Even now I must haste scribbling this down. But there is a thing I must remember.
