The False Nobleman: Part IV

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Remis awoke to a knocking at his door. He rolled over, still adrift between consciousness. It wasn’t until the third set of knocks that he opened his eyes and protested incoherently, “Arr mummment!” He reached out to his bedside table where his linen undershirt lay. Taking a momentary respite to gather his senses, he slid from the bed and tugged the shirt over his head before shuffling towards the door and opening it.

The False Nobleman: Part III

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The following morning Lowesmore’s personal messenger trotted along the wooden surface of Esgaroth. When he reached what was a reasonably sized house the rider dismounted. Since the location was so close to the lake much dirt and grime clung the windows and its once white walls were stained a sickly shade of yellow. The scent of the lake was most prominent in the morning which encouraged the rider to act swiftly. He climbed the steps, knocked upon the door and waited.

Following his return to Bree, Remis often finds himself reminiscing on adventures long past. Sitting beside the fire at The Thirsty Boar, he recalls a venture once shared with his former wife, Ofelie Whitesage. Not that he knew it at the time, for she disguised herself as a young lad in order to join their caravan heading west. It wasn't until they partook in a sparring session in the Trollshaws did he catch a glimpse of the truth.

The False Nobleman: Part II

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

What was once a cellar in the lower section of Lowesmore's townhouse had been converted into a sparring hall and armoury. Sebastian Lowesmore seldom partook in drink as he disliked the idea of his wits and senses being affected, especially when amongst business associates and friends. Although Lowesmore's son, Hanshal, failed to follow his father's example in that regard, he did approve of making good use of the cellar's renovation.

Story

Winter had at last left the capital, with spring rising to take its place. It’s once grey and frostbitten appearance now glowing in the sunrise, offering colour once again to Dale’s palette. It was around this time that Lord Sebastian Lowesmore II announced his annual ball, to celebrate the reawakening of the countryside. Naturally this was a privilege offered to only the most prominent names throughout the land.
