Born before the Fall of Gondolin, Cardanith still remembers the marble towers, the flying banners, and the bite or dragon fire. Yet, the battle upon the slopes of Mount Doom would prove to leave the most impact upon him. He is fiercely loyal, and his oaths were sworn to Gil-Galad. Cardanith believes he has failed in his duty as a Bannerman and a soldier, and carries guilt for the High King's passing. Awakening in the heat of the Third Age, he spends most of his time in Imladris, resting and licking his wounds, before he departs to wage war, if needed, alone, against the dark.
