At the Hithaeglir, Annúngil paid Thendryt little heed, too absorbed in his duties to mind his presence. However, it was more of a presence of absence. The man came and gone as he saw fit and his superiors commanded. When he was at the encampment, Thendryt kept to himself, as far as he could from the Eldar.

Days passed on slowly for Caith as she tried to hold her mood up. She could see Lyth woking hard on there new boat. But it seems to go slow to get it ready. Her fear becomes higher as she noticed that he bag of food started to become more empty. One day she decided that they needed to try to get some more food somehow. As she talked to Lyth he told her that he had noticed a small room in the ruins that he had seen them carrying food from.
