Event details:
Following the imposition of an outrageous toll at the Brandywine Bridge, Saradoc son of Rorimac, Master of Buckland, has assembled a disparate band of investigators: intrepid Bucklanders, stranded Shire-folk, Dwarf-traders whose livelihood depends on the Great East Road, and their homeward-bound escort—the Blue Mountains Regiment.
Despite the ban, they prepare to commandeer the Bucklebury Ferry and cross stealthily into the Eastfarthing, there to meet with a trusted friend of Saradoc's, Farmer Maggot. From him, they hope to learn more about the current trouble in the Shire and its apparent instigator—the new "Chief Shirriff" of the Watch, one Lotho Sackville-Baggins.
This is an unscripted roleplaying event, co-hosted by the Blue Mountains Regiment and the Hobbitry; it is open to kinship members of all levels.
The narrative takes place in and around the Chief's Shire, a player-made setting that explores the state of the Four Farthings under Lotho Sackville-Baggins' rule.
