(OOC - Spoiler-free:)
Ceneshar, one of the eldest lore-masters of Lothlórien, has long dwelled in quiet rivalry with Galadriel and Celeborn. Proud, reclusive and burdened with grief, he is driven to desperate measures when his daughter Naridalis forsakes their land, and is drawn toward a growing darkness. Seeking to protect her, Ceneshar gazes into the Mirror and finds not only her fate, but his own unraveling. Entangled in visions of the Shadowflame, his ancient grief, and a whispering power promising salvation, Ceneshar begins a path he cannot leave... not without losing everything.
(OOC - Spoliers here after:)
The Last Light of Lórien is a tale of quiet ruin, tracing the slow unravelling of Ceneshar, once a revered Loreward of the Silent Archive. What begins as a scholarly curiosity, an encounter with a forbidden text, unfolds into a subtle and harrowing descent. Haunted by the loss of his wife and shaken by his daughter’s fading light, Ceneshar turns to ancient knowledge thought long-buried: the Ashen Record, a relic of Morgoth’s twisted craft.
From whispered doubts to calculated deceit, from a hidden murder in the Silent Archive to the manipulation of the court of Celeborn and Galadriel themselves, the chronicle weaves a tale of grief transfigured into obsession. Even as he cloaks his intentions in loyalty and love, a darker purpose takes root.
Now, armed with the knowledge of how to sway hearts and shatter wills, Ceneshar leads a detachment beyond the borders of the Golden Wood, not to serve its safety, but to hunt the one whose shadow calls to him: the Herald of the Unseen War. But beneath every step lies a question unspoken... can a heart break so fully that even light becomes its enemy?
This is the chronicle of a man not merely falling to darkness, but choosing it... with love as both his reason, and his ruin.
