Diary

Shortly after setting off, on the outskirts of Harwick I had to stop and make a camp at a place Breen showed me before down near the river. Brodie went lame real quick an Cherry been acting stupid, like she thinks there's snakes crawling up her legs! Why act up now? I s'pose I shouldn't risk Brodie following behind us even if I could have ridden Cherry anyway.

I got a fire lit an the horses are resting now. Don't know what the wood is I lit, there's a familiar smell, not a bad one, I can't place it though.

At times, laughter is a sign of happiness, and joy, at others - It is to respond, precipitate, to a joke, a crudeness of sorts, then at other times it is a thing that appears when once is strongly influenced by his mug at a tavern.
