Selfie Time

The dark leaves shone and the red berries glowed in the red light of the setting sun. As dinner was roasting on the fire I had time to think about many things. About the past , about people, about  myself.

Eregion is pleasant enough, there is is just no living soul here, well apart a few giants, some dragons with a really stinky breath, and some 'woody' folk that talks with a funny accent ... 'A who you man?'

In the clearing, by a small glade of trees, stood an elf maiden clad in white and light blue. Her long dark hair flowing down her back in small soft waves, her grey eyes  deep as the the sea, she looked sad  but smiled at me .

It was passed noon when  the council was over. The bells announcing lunch were ringing and Lord Elrond invited me to his table. Such is the magic of Rivendell,  all my worries and sadness were lifted from my mind.

Just before parting from Benni, we met some of the finest elven warriors in the valley, Lord Khalis and Lady Elisbeth - this was a happy meeting
