Now that everyone has gotten used to the lay of the land and each other, it is time to delve deeper into the Old Forest, and see what other secrets it may hold.

The cold winter nights are fading and warmth is coming back into the world. Leaves regrow on the trees and the flowers start to bloom. It's spring time and what a way to celebrate this beautiful time of year than with a party!

A social meet and celebration of the life of a great literary figure. This will be a short event starting with a brief speech, the all-important toast and then fireworks will be set off in the front yard of the Bird and Baby Inn.

The hours are spent sharing stories and gossip, offering welcome or directions to passers-by at the ford, or chatting idly with fishermen, wanderers, and other gatherers at the water's edge.
