Keep Them Closer

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Things were getting more complicated each passing day.  Lyfrid had to be so very careful now.  Even though Lyfrid believed she had the upper hand over Brulk, one never knows what a man might do nor say given the right circumstances.  She and Patch argued every time their paths crossed, ugly, violent arguments.  What if the day came when he no longer held his tongue about what he knew?  It wasn't as if she could be seen with or around him, it was

Diary

Duarion and I were still half asleep, when an elf knocked on our door to deliver a letter. The sun was dawning over Rivendell and I slowly opened my eyes to take the letter, which was addressed to Lady and Lord Thorongial in Rivendell.
I recognized Marlyn's careful handwriting on it.

The latest crime scene was revealed... At Dagramir's favourite place to spend his time... That fact alone was one to tear at his heart, but it didn't help that he knew the next victim personally... It was Francheska... The woman he had tried so desperately to save. She was placed in the middle of the ruins, looking as peaceful as ever, as if she was just asleep... But he knew once he saw the red face painted onto the wall, he had failed his task...

Three Blind Mice

There were few things that Lyfrid enjoyed more than a good game of cat and mouse, as long as she was the cat.  A new game had started with a black bearded mouse one early day in Bree.  The Seer loved giving nicknames to persons and this round dwarf she dubbed

The world is so unpredictable. Things happen suddenly, unexpectedly. We want to feel we are in control of our own existence. In some ways we are, in some ways we're not. We are ruled by the forces of chance and coincidence. Was it a coincidence or chance that Lyfrid crossed paths with Brulk at Adso's Camp early that day or was there forces we cannot see operating the pulleys and levers of life.

Dear Reader, if you are holding this journal in your hands and reading it, it must mean that I am dead or that I have misplaced it. It would be very kind of you to do following. If I am dead, please be so kind and send this to Miss Celnessyn in Tegwent, Bree. If I have misplaced this, do return this to me right away or I shall curse you. For it is very unpolite to read one’s personal journal.

Dagramir had been lucky to gain this meeting, using his knowledge, he brokered  a quick deal with Mayrin, and managed to gain an audience with the one and only, 'Bree-town Ripper'... So there he stood, practically face to face with the man he had been hunting for so long... But he hadn't been prepared for what came next...

Defiance

Dagramir shakes his head, staying as physically determined as possible, he decides to leave his own mark on the crime scene. He moves forwards, heading for the door, he unsheathes his dagger, and would begin to carve into the door, a depiction of a coiled, hissing snake. He would take time in this, making his depiction as graphic as possible. Once he finished, he slices the word 'VIPER'  into the oak underneath it, then scores along the bottom of it, underlining it. He would then turn, hoping that the 'Bree-town Ripper' would get his message.

Dagramir had been having a troublesome day. A letter in from his aunt, telling him of his uncle's death, and the need for him to find a wife. Getting drunk with Tailia, which is never a good idea, and then Annsuel straight afterwards, left him reeling also.
