It had been a slow, boring night for Dagramir, the only fight he had gotten into ended with his opponents running away, so he had had little time to have fun that day. He had been wandering idly around Bree, his eyes scanning the ground, searching for spare arrowheads, as usual, when he had literally bumped into Tailia. Much to her dismay, of course, as he had his mask on, and she hadn't recognized him. Although as soon as he lifted his mask, they soon found themselves lost in each other's embrace once more. Dagramir had soon began to ask about his love's day, after telling her all about his endeavors, and how his own day was boring, and started off with being woken up in the morning with the sun beating straight down onto his face. Dagramir has certainly not prepared himself for her response..
Tailia would roll her eyes, momentarily pressing her forehead against his with a playful tap, more of a clash in response to his comment than anything. She'd shake her head slightly after she'd have pulled it back, chuckling quietly; ''The window by the bed has always been a problem for me, yes.. The sun in your eyes isn't the nicest thing to wake up to, I must admit..'' Her lips progress to twitch, providing a vivid smile as she'd turn her gaze elsewhere, her stomach. Her brows would raise as she'd ponder over her decision before nodding, as if reassuring herself more than anything. Looking back toward Dagramir, her smile would turn toward the resemblance of a smirk, knowing she'd be aiming to deliver this in a playful manner; ''You know, carrying a child. Hm, the usual.'' She'd raise her brows, they'd be slight sarcasm in her voice as if she'd be playing about; Although they'd be obvious seriousness in her tone at the mention of a child, most likely giving it away that she'd have meant it, her gaze focusing on Dagramir as she'd await some sort of response.
Dagramir chuckles gently as their heads clash, that experience seeming to be enjoyable to him. He then smiles, and follows her gaze down to her stomach when she does so, his eyebrows raising. As she utters the words, his first thoughts are of disbelief, his head seems to move back, "Wh-...", he doesn't seem to quite believe it at first. He frowns slightly, the impact of the situation seeming to noticeably stun him, as many emotions run through his mind all at once. He soon relaxes though, and his lips flicker into the form of a smile, "Th-... That's... That's wonderful.", he smiles a little more, "I'm-... Going to be a father?", he manages slowly, seeming to still not even believe the sudden news. Although his mind finds itself conflicted, the many emotions racing through his mind seeming to stun him, the most notable emotion he feels is joy. Absolute joy. And that is displayed clearly on his face. He would slowly bring his head back forwards, to rest his head against her's gently, repeating, a little more quieter now, "I'm going to be a father...?", he blinks a few times, and closes his eyes, attempting enjoy this moment as much as he can.
Tailia would run her tongue along her bottom lip momentarily before sinking her teeth softly into the skin of her lips, his reaction confusing yet entertaining her to some extent. Their heads clashing would cause the overall idea to become slightly more realistic as she'd obviously not have believed it herself to begin with. Her gaze wouldn't move, it focusing directly on Dagramir as begin to make his reaction more clearly now, the whole concept sending a cool chill down her spine, the overall sense of excitement within her. Her hand would go back to wrap about the side of his neck, her fingers massaging the skin softly as she'd chuckle, rolling her eyes; ''Well, the options there. Only if you want to be.'' She'd burst into another sense of laughter, her sarcasm amusing herself before she'd instantly stop, the concept of him declining and walking away would also be an option he'd be to pick, causing her to be alone once more. Her gaze would now watch him, narrowing them slightly to concentrate on his further reactions, observing whether he'd be accepting of this or not.
Dagramir 's eyes flicker open once more, the sarcasm obviously not reaching him. It was an option he honestly did consider. He himself wasn't sure if he was ready for the responsibility, and his confusion would seem apparent. He would generally be speechless, unsure what to do, letting his mind process this sudden information, before he slowly goes, "T-Tailia... This is wonderful news... The-... The most wonderful of my life.", he chuckles gently, a nervous quiver in his tone, unsure of what would happen now, although he soon puts those thoughts aside. The doubt in his mind being replaced with utter joy. One way or another, he was going to be a father.
Tailia would blink a few times, realizing that the sarcasm hadn't come out the way she planned, the result of this being for her head to burrow between the gap of his neck and shoulder blade. Due to the high emotion levels, even at the beginning of pregnancy, Tailia would react with almost silent sobs, purely the realistic manner of becoming a mother seeming to proceed a shock in itself. Debating wherever she would class as something of a mother, she'd shake her head, her tip tipped so her gaze would fall upon him, her brows arched; ''Are you sure, Dagramir..? This isn't something you can be alright with now.. Then leave once it's here, or near..''
Dagramir nods slowly, and knew that once again, she was right. This certainly wasn't something he could change his mind about. His mind silently went through with so many emotions, numerous options before him, before his mind settled, and he nods slowly, "Tailia... You're the woman I want to be with... You're the woman I -want- to have my child...", his lips twitch into a happy smile, his mind having been overridden by joyful thoughts, "I will stay with you... Till the end...", he murmers gently, his tone dropping slowly. Although, certainly unsure what to do, and unsure of what to say next, he just shakes his head, one of his hands slipping around to rest onto her stomach. He smiles slightly once more, his gaze directed down to his unborn child, "I-...", he would begin, although cuts off, hesitating on his words, before he continues anyway, thinking, 'What's the worst that could happen?', "I know... T-This is sudden... It's not everyday t-that you find out... You're having a c-child.", he chuckles gently, before he would look up to match her gaze once more, his piercing gaze gazing off into her's, adoration clear in his eyes, "And... And I know... This isn't the w-way... I would have p-planned things... But...", he shrugs slowly, "What the hell...", he adopts a more serious tone, although his usual cocky smirk adopts onto his lips soon enough, "Tailia Kolten.. W-Will.. Will you marry me?", he stammers out, nerves playing in his mind, something he was usually not accustomed to. Without even pausing for a response, his mind scrambles, and he starts speaking anyway, "I didn't want to force this onto you like this.. I would've wanted it to be a b-bit more special... And I-I just wish we had more time to do things...", he begins, and would continue to ramble on, his mind's defence mechanism, unless he was stopped. This was triggered, purely because of his fear. Fear of rejection being the key feature in this. But a fear of the future, also. A fear of what will come for them soon enough.
Tailia would awaiting his response in pure fear, preparing for rejection due to the lack of quality time they have ever spent as a pair, not to mention the fact that he might not be ready for such commitments toward someone. These emotions would be published in tears, her levels already high as she'd react more sensitively toward these subjects, sobbing quietly into his attire's material. Her sobs would lower in frequency, his talking seeming to overpower much more, a smile retaking on her features as she would obviously appear thrilled he'd accept, exhaling deeply for a sense of relief; ''Even if you didn't 'want' me to have your child, it's too late for that, isn't it?'' She'd coy a sly wink, relaxing slightly in the realistic fashion of being a parent. Oddly enough, her brows would raise as he'd seem to continue, his speech toward her stomach causing a chuckle to roll off her tongue, the admiration in her eyes vivid. Mumbling for some sort of response, her eyes widening as he'd carry on, no restrictions to stop him. As he'd ask, the feelings of being pregnant would flow through her body once more, the offer shocking her entirely. She'd lift her head backwards, her gaze directly on him at this point as she'd momentarily press her lips onto his, perhaps a test to see if she would wish to continue. She'd withdrawal, shaking her head dismissively as if to silence him, her movement of her head now resembling a nod, this being the thought out decision toward him; ''I'll marry you..''
Dagramir, after seeming to continue to ramble on, is quickly silenced by her lips, finding his mind melting under this, returning to his normal frame of mind. He then smiles slightly during the kiss, and as she pulls away and says those three words, his heart leaps. His lips slowly curl into a grin, he was so afraid of rejection, that this was the best news he had ever heard in his life. He quickly moves forwards, pressing his lips against her's, offering another slow, prolonged kiss, before slowly pulling away, his lips lingering near her's. His lips slowly twitch into a light smirk, "I-... I don't have a ring, I'm afraid...", he then bursts into a light chuckle at this, and would rest his head gently against her's once more, thanking silently that she had said yes. Not only was he getting what he wanted, but he would finally fulfill his legacy, and marry. And he was going to be a father. Something he was hugely unprepared for.
Tailia, with her hand already lingering about his neck, it would remain as their lips would linger together as she'd speak, presuming it to be his response to her such, positive answer. As it'd depart, her brows would raise, his smirk returning mean she'd have prepared herself for some sort of cocky, playful comment. She'd roll her eyes, guessing as much before she'd smile, shaking her head slightly, pulling her head back a little to do so, it quickly pressed against his once more; ''Well.. You already have one job on your.. ''To-do list'', don't you?'' She coy a sly wink, this meaning he'd be preparing for a list to be created, even though they'd be sarcasm in her tone.
Dagramir laughs lightly at this, thankful for the sarcasm in her tone, a 'to-do' list not something that would please him, he'd just smile, keeping his head gently against her's, gazing off into her eyes once more, "Indeed...", he would lose himself to his thoughts once more, a few moments of enjoyable silence, before he speaks up, "I love you, Tailia Kolten.", he manages, his smile remaining for the time being, purely just enjoying their closeness. He didn't even want to think about the consequences of his actions, or the potential danger he may have just put her into. Although, at this moment in time, he really didn't care, all he cared about was her.
Tailia would chuckle quietly, now feeling more relaxed and comfortable, due to two announcements, already having some sense of this just being within his embrace. Lifting a hand to wipe away single, which would've inched toward her mouth as it'd widen toward a smile, her gaze meeting his with a glint of admiration within them; ''I love you too, Dagramir Audun..''
Dagramir chuckles lightly at this, and nods slowly, "I'm glad.", he manages, and he smiles once more, before he would slide his head off of her's, and offer her one last kiss. A long, meaningful, loving one, which he savored every moment of, once again becoming disconnected from the world, in her warm embrace. Although he didn't care, his mind focusing only on them, at that moment, that one perfect moment, where he didn't have a care in the world...
