Amongst the ruins of ancient Mirobel

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The night was bright over the ruins of Echad Mirobel due to the sky being clear. The stars shone down upon the remnants of the past casting eerie shadows to those who watched through the darkness.

Hiril Elisbeth had arrived earlier in the evening and I now watched as she studied the book before her, its ancient pages cast a glow upon her fine features. Was there an enchantment at work or mere playful reflections of the fire I could not tell? But old beyond my years I knew the book to be.

Southward Into Eregion

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Despite the sun smiling down there was a chill on the wind which was winding its way through the vale as I left that morning. With a last look down upon my home I turned my horse away from the sun and out the western gates of Imladris. Once across the high moor I picked my way down the slopes till I came to the Bruinen which I intended to follow southward till the rise into Echad Gwingris. The few menfolk who had chosen to make their home along the Bruinen are used to the elder patrols from Imladris passing this way so there was no need to hide my features.

My preparations are now nearly complete, the armoury has reworked my armour and I was gifted two fine gifts prior to taking my leave of the vale.

After speaking with his old commander and his brother at length Khalis spends some time to break bread and share a glass of wine before heading onward with the patrol.

He is reminded of the up and coming Ball held by Bar En Vanimar each year and how he has never been seen to dance there. The brothers take great pleasure is making Khalis feel very foolhardy after he demonstrates his feeble skill at dancing to them.

Story

[A lively elf by the name of Celdir surreptitiously produces a crumpled and ink-stained piece of paper and offers it to those he considers to be friendly to Virthalion including, but not limited to, Lady Danel, Lady Elisbeth and Captain Khalis of Imladris. He expresses some concern over his master’s well-being and although he is not unduly worried, indicates that he wishes to make sure that Virthalion is being kept an eye on by his companions - whether his master approves of this or not.]
