Mirkwood

Having entered the Woodland Realm, after days of traveling without any sunlight, without feeling a fresh breeze upon the skin, many a wanderer can become an easy prey to madness, despair and tiredness.

After eight days, the company finally reached the Mountains of Mirkwood.

Crossing the hills, Loegenel decided to have a short respite upon the camp of Tham Taerdol.

After traveling a whole day and almost the whole night during heavy rainfall, the weather calmed a little bit in the next morning.

Ascending a slope full of many rotten roots, the company found themselves opposite to the old ruins of the Dannenglor castle.

Having left the Haunted Inn, it turned out the company was not lucky.

A heavy rain slowed them once again.

After a day of waiting, finally Turumor arrived at the Haunted Inn. Clad in green and brown colours, he had taken a large, ornate shield with him, knowing about the coming dangers of the long journey.

A wise scout once said:

"People learn to appreciate the small comforts of life only after the hardship of a long journey."

Upon the fourth day of their journey, the company finally arrives at a small Malledhrim outpost.

There, some soldiers have restored one of the larger deserted woodmen houses, fashioning its interior in the way of a simple inn.

On the third day of their journey the rain has grown weaker.

The company, leaving the great east-west road, passes a deserted village.
