Dreams of Darkness

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story
My thoughts are in turmoil, scattered around by a stormful wind in a thundering rainstorm, obscuring my sight and keeping a clear mind. Only when the lightning strikes, my vision and thoughts become apparent, before everything turns back into a swirl of dark disarray. It's the painful visions, during the blinding bright lightnings that causes my distress and a mind in disharmony.

Story

She had never been a particularly brooding or isolated soul.

Words and smiles and politeness had flowed so effortlessly in her youth. She went where she was told to go. Spoke affably and easily to whoever she encountered. And smiled without having to muster any measure of will to curve her lips upward into a convincing expression.

Bedside Tales: A Midsummer Night's Surprise.

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

That first week we had Waelden in the bed at home, Ethel and I would sit near him in the evening and talk about all sorts of things. In part it was to soothe our own anxiety over how well his foot would heal. It was to give him some sound in the background he could choose to listen to, or not. And it was to strengthen the bond between us all.

The morning was bright and hot. Spring was grasping on with tendrils that grew thinner and weaker with every dawn. The air held a heaviness that promised the woman would be damp with sweat by the end of the day's work.

The Bancross Mystery: The Path of Bancross

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story
It is an early spring morning and the sun is still lingering behind the White mountains, currently warming up the realm of Gondor. But soon it will cast its rays of light on Rohan and our village as well. I have taken to rising early from bed, so I can train my mind and body in solitude, away from the judging eyes of my fellow villagers.
