Background
Where Morgang originates from it´s hard to know, but it´s most likely he grow up somewhere in the northeast, beyond the Gray Mountains. It´s know though - that even though he never had any real parents he was raised in a monastry by monks untill he was old enough to go his own way. Therefore knowledge has allways been important to him, and the information he receives serves as fuel for his constant pursuit of greater power.
When having travelled far across the lands and having seen much of middle-earth´s greatness he came, now as an old man, to the lands of Angmar. His great knowledge and powers was of use to the lords and ladies of Carn Dûm and soon he was innitiated into the priesthood of Melkor; the oldest order of Angmar´s religious cults. After recieving years of training as an adept he was finally rewarded the crimson garments of the Angmarim - which he from that moment forward allways wore with pride.
Twentyseven years passed and Morgang became one of the greatest of all the Angmarim. He sat in the council of Carn Dûm and long he awaited for his moment to arrive, On the fall that year it came. A raven came one day, bearing a letter to Morgang. It recuested his services in Eriador and was signed by no other than Nalokha, the dark queen of Angmar herself. Morgang made haste, and with only a small group of trusted friends and obidient slaves he left his cold halls for Bree-land. And so it hapend that Morgang Ogedalûth, the old man of the north, came to be one of the main characters in the red lady´s great cause to conquer Eriador.
