A morning chill drowns seas of pine.
The stars unlit their nightly shine
The silence's deep
As all still sleep
Horizon's white and trimmed with fir
And you're as always far and near
When sun's first rays
Spelcast new days
Like lit in fire, a gorgeous dawn
That follows dusk and the starlit gown
Of night's dark sky,
Unknown and high,
Wakes up all life and makes the time
Tick faster, makes life's bells to chime
Of change and new
While you
In distant lands and heart-kept thought
Through all new changes you will not,
In past inlaid,
Completely fade
(..there's that magic moment in the morning, when the silence still rules over sleeping life and everything seems still possible and everyone ever dear could be nearby, just out of your sight)
