Saving the Farm Click here to listen
Ryheric replays and embellishes the melody to a short jig sung to him by Greengrove, to explain the events with the mercenaries at Hengstacer Farm. A tribute to Greengrove himself, Ryheric's playing has the notes dancing with such enthusiastic joy that they seem to want to burst free from the confines of any instrument.
((Lyrics by Greengrove))
"I came here to heal your horse!
But what found me?
Trouble of course!
Along came bandits, and my were they grumpy!
And from then on, the road was bumpy!
They sung threats and brandished steel!
My company felled them, in time for a meal!
The farm was saved, and the steed was too!
Doubt Greengrove not, every word is true!"
